Living by the coast - we don't often get the snow, I have always assumed it is something to do with being a seaside town, salt in the air etc etc - who knows!? (well... probably weather professionals!)
To our delight - over the weekend we had a few inches, and anyone with a child will know that there is rarely any form of joy that can be found in life, than when it snows, and you utter the words
"Shall we make a snowman"
"Tadaaah"
Finlay, 5, was quite prepared to build said snowman in his pj's, and quite protested when I insisted upon layering him up and finding his wellington boots.
Admittedly he could hardly bend by the time I had finished with the hat and scarf drawer.
He meant business with the snowballs though - he has terrible aim, our only saving grace!
That is, till he got bored of missing and pushed snow down my husbands trousers * insert humongous evil laughter and much merriment *
Oh how I love this boy - and his youthful innocence that allows me to still dress him in home made woollens and monkey hats.
The reason we were laughing in the picture below - is because just a second before - Finlay had been eating the snow from Ben's hat. Tasty.
...... see below ;)
Hehehe.

Such fabulous pictures of the three of you.
It's remembering moments like these that make the bad times more bearable. :-) xx
Looks like everybody had fun, I can remember when my girls were small they tickled me until they had me on the floor in the snow and then covered me in snow, how I miss those days now that they are grown but then I say I am having my second childhood so they better watch out next time it snows here I will get my revenge. Enjoy your little one as they grow up too fast. Alison xxx
Great photos, looks like you all had a lot of fun in the snow.
I love the eyes you gave your snowman. Oh how I miss days like this!
Adorable photos - nothing like snow fun with family :-)
Ha ha, he's so adorable in that hat, and cute for eating the snow! We built a snowman too, but yours is better! x
