catch up

Hey all.
I haven't blogged for a while - I wish I could sit here now and regale you with a wondrous adventure that has taken up my time - but alack - I have none, and in fact the truth of the matter is much less exciting.
I haven't felt "myself" since Jan - I can't seem to shake off feeling, so odd! (not pregnant I swear) I even dyed my hair back to black, because I wasn't feeling "rad" enough for the red!
And - worst of all -I hadn't even scrapped since December - till this week! So unlike me.
Paper and glue will always be my first craft love, crochet now is fast becoming one of my daily 'do's - but paper and glue is where my heart lies.
So - after heeding some wise advice from Laura, to kick start it all again, I started doing project life.
This has helped me no end - because it is proper proper scrapbooking!
Let me explain what I mean, I love 12x12 and 8.5x11 - but - the concept behind project life is something that appeals to me greatly (not that I started it till Feb!)  but the idea of scrapping all the little things, on a small scale, as well as the big things is perfect.
It is the very definition of scrapbooking in my opinion.
I am doing a split page protector per week, and some mixed size extra pages if the occasion calls for it.
that middle space up there is waiting for a picture of Ben  ......  /\
I have designed some journal cards to go in - I kinda like including stuff I have doodled too - the herringbone cards were made in photoshop and printed onto kraft - cute huh?

I am already very excited about this album, and if it is the only thing I do scrap this year,
I will be a happy girl.
I am including things like, facts, music, new outfits, diet things etc all within the normal weekly pages, so there are plenty of "fillers" for the days that me and Fin have spent under a duvet building lego houses.
(not that that isn't awesome)

The photos are taken on my iphone - so not that awesome - soz!
I promise to take better pics in day light.

ps: I started slimming world again yesterday - if you do the diet and have some new awesome hints or recipes, drop me a line!

Glad that project life has got you scrapping again. I'm doing it too although I've not blogged much of mine. Need to get caught up this week!

Love your Project Life so far, and good to see you back scrapping. And there is nothing wrong with building lego at 27 and childless I have just rediscovered my love for it!!

Great to see you back
