The one with an awesome giveaway........

YAY for give away's right?
AND I HAVE AN AWESOME ONE FOR YOU.
I have a place for one lucky blog reader on
I signed up last year, and fell head over heels in love with my album - even from day one.
I had everything cut and ready to go by like the 15th of November - and when it came round to Dec first I was ready, glue in hand to paste Finlay's 2nd Christmas onto paper forever more,
And even now when I look back over the album I am incredibly proud.
So - if you want a chance to feel that way, to create an album that might just well become a family heirloom.. then leave me a comment with your favourite moment of the Holidays.. be it the second your child finds their stocking packed full of gifts from Santa, or when your cookies come out perfect, or when your husband clues up and buys you that star pendant from Tiffany's. ;-)... any moment will do!
I will announce the winner tomorrow night! QUICK!

I love spending time with my family--when all of my sisters are here. One of my sisters lives out of state so she doesn't come home as often as she/we would like.

Being a Latina from the Caribbean (yeah, I know how exotic that sounds, LOL!) My favorite Xmas moment is the Wisemen tradition.

On Jan. 5Th night kids leave a shoebox full of grass under the tree for the Wisemen camels to eat, and if they have been good kids over the year, the Wisemen will get them gifts.

I love Christmas, everything about it. No my children are all grown up the thing that I love the most is going to Mass on Christmas Day. I love the way everyone is in a good mood, the way we all smile at each other AND it's about the only time all of us go to church together now!

What a great giveaway!!! Thank you for the chance to win. My favorite moment of Christmas is when the kids are coming down the stairs in the morning and see the tree for the first time with all the gifts under it. I love the way their little faces light up.

The past 5 years have given me wonderful Christmas memories and they are all linked to my daughter. She seems to find something more magical about it every year. The first time she understood who Santa was, about 3 years ago just blew me away. She is very excited again this year and cannot wait to put her advent calendar up.

Looking forward to seeing your journal this year.

My favourite moment for the holidays came last night when me and my sister found a pink christmas tree for our youngest sis. She had been saying she wanted one to match her room for weeks. We bought it and surprised her. It was a lot of fun.

hi i love that special time on christmas eve when you realise that all the shops are shut and that you should have everything you need if not its too late, the quiet realization that its nearly here, cuddle up on the sofa with your little ones, watching christmas movies talking about santa on his sleigh, eating cookies and kissing those babies foreheads.

Even though my kids are older now, I still love the moment all the presents are under the tree Christmas Eve and the house is quiet.

I love so much about Christmas but I think my favourite moment is Christmas Eve after the kids are in bed. We've usually just returned from church and the house is quiet and the tree lights are twinkling. I love that feeling of peace. Maybe it's the calm before the storm!

One of my favorite Holiday moments is watching A Charlie Brown Christmas on Christmas Eve. I've seen it many, many times, but I enjoy it each year as though it's my first time seeing it.

What a wonderful gift you're giving!!

Christmas is my most favorite of the holidays! I have so many wonderful memories of Christmas when my children were young and now I'm savoring the ones made with my grands. This is difficult!!

One that really stands out is when my yougest son's son, Dylan, decided to decorate my Christmas tree on his own. I'd gotten the tree the day before, and planned to decorate it that night. I was busy in another part of my home when Dylan (age 4 at the time)decided he could no longer wait on his Nana and took matters into his own hands. He rummaged through my desk, pulled up a dining chair, and then placed my yellow tape measure like a swag around the tree. In the center of the tree and on the highest branch he could reach, Dylan hung a beautiful golden ornament that had arrived in the mail that day. He chose a key fob to place on yet another branch, and his final choice in decoration was a roll of electricial tape that was placed on yet another branch. I wish you could have seen the look of pride and delight on his face when he took my hand and led me to that tree!! Needless to say, perhaps, the photo I took of his precious masterpiece (tagged with "Decorated by Dylan") became my Christmas card that year.

Thank you for evoking that magical moment for me Sj!! xo <3

My favorite moment for Christmas is the moment right before we sit down for dinner and all gather in the kitchen to say grace. For whatever reason saying grace at Christmas always bring a tear to my eye.

It's hard to choose only one favorite. But I'd say mine is the Christmas we were short on cash, but big on love. Our daughter was 8. Hubby and I had so much fun working together to refurbish my childhood doll house for her gift. The other gift we gave our daughter was a beautiful formal dress that I bought for $1 and altered to fit my daughter for playing dress up. Our daughter was thrilled with her gifts and never realized that we were short on cash. She played with those two gifts more than any toys we ever bought her from the store other years. Little can become much when love is in it.

One of my favorite moments is singing 'Silent Night' acappella with the rest of the congregation in church at midnight on Christmas eve with only the soft glow of the candles each person is holding. It's so peaceful and heart-filling.

Thanks for the opportunity to win a spot in the JYC class! I've heard lots of great things about it.

My favorite moment is seeing my son's face on Christmas morning. Even last year at 5 months old, he lit up and reached out for the color ring stack Santa left next to his stocking. After hours of fun, plus a nap, he finally explored the contents of the stocking. Can't wait to see how he reacts this year. :) Thanks for a chance to win!
