Two things today that make me sad...
1: I am not in America for Halloween
and
2: We don't have a Pottery Barn in the UK so I could buy these....

Actually... I am obviously now going to paint my squashes white for "fall decoration" in my lounge..
cos these are plain beautiful!!
I want this porch,
I want so badly to live in a big wooden house in a quiet American town, with a big wooden porch and veranda round the house which I could decorate like this.......
But, I don't *insert a giant BLAH*
So I will stop wishing my October away!
I am going away for the weekend with some friends, so that will cheer me up!
Talking of which.....
I need to order photos like ASAP!

Ah me too SJ, infact if scrub that when I win the lottery I fully intend to buy a plot of land and build said house with said porch and of course I'd need to spend some time in America immediately after my lottery win, you know for research purposes of course :)
That porch looks so fantastic! And those pumkin candles are soo cool! Sometimes I'd love to live in America too. There are certain things only the Americans can do properly! x
I share your dream and wish for a lottery win all the time so I can build my wooden house with a big veranda.......feel just as sad as you now :( Enjoy your weekend away

Lovely photos! We were in the States just after Hallowe'en last year and were amazed at the displays in gardens: cobwebs as big a houses, skeletons and tombstones ... Wow!
