Decorations and bunting......

It's nearly been a month since my Wonderland Tea party - I am still loving the photos.. but realised that I never did a proper blog post about the decorations of the day!
Well - I am lucky enough to be able to say that
dotcomgiftshop sent me this stunning white paper bunting - my first thoughts when I saw the packaging was "how is paper bunting going to last?" BUT It is like card - and unbelievably sturdy. It even withstood a rain shower!
It has a gorgeous laser cut pattern - which reminds me of lace paper.
here it is hanging in the garden....
If you love it as much as I do -check out the bunting in the shop. Seriously pretty.
Onto the Other decorations of the day, which included:
Paper moustaches (and Cheshire cat smiles)
playing card "wind whirlers" (I made 15 of these - and they dotted around the garden)
My tea cups and saucers.. teapots... jugs etc etc
peonies (heart!) , Gerberas and giant playing cards....
playing card structures....

playing card bunting....
More giant playing cards
seriously - I cannot express how amazingly awesome the garden looked!

Fantastic - wow you were busy - though I think you have got things slightly wrong - I am sure there were never bottles of Becks at the T Party - Queenie would have said "Off with her head"!!!!

Lovely, SJ!
I'm also a DotComGiftShop fan... and was lucky enough to get asked to review the same white lace bunting and some fab vintage paisley stuff too. I agree that they're amazingly tough. I had a lovely time hanging them between the trees in our garden and photographing them.
Your party bunting and decorations looked really fab. I bet everyone had a wonderful time!

Sarah-Jane your garden was indeed wonderful and just right for a madhatters party.

Hope you can decorate it again like that this summer with all this glorious weather we have been having. Bunting always looks so happy.
